Delivery

• We deliver wood all year round, no matter the season. From Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, and alternate Saturdays until 2pm depending on our workloads.

• All Electronic payments made, like Credit card or Debit card, Zapper, Snapscan or any others must clear before any orders will be processed.

• Deliveries are charged for at fair rates but please understand that all fees cover fuel, workmanship and wear and tear on vehicles.

• All our delivery fees are based on and calculated by weight and distance. The further the order goes or heavier it becomes, the higher the charge may become.

• Deliveries take place within a 5-7 business day delivery window, after payment has been received. Turnaround times may differ throughout the year based on which season it is or how busy we are, but we aim for this time frame as a standard.

• We do not give set delivery times for the day of delivery, instead we supply estimated time frames and can give you an indication if delivery will be done in the morning or afternoon hours. Happy to keep you updated during the course of the day until your order has been delivered.

• Please note that regular Instant EFT orders (same bank transfers or instant payments initiated by a banking fee) are dispatched fastest in most cases, as with electronic payment methods we have to wait for the funds to clear before releasing the goods.

• All deliveries are region based, in which we have divided Cape Town up into 8 main regions. Check out the various delivery regions listed below. Each region will cover specific areas. Please make sure to select the correct region you reside in when completing your order online.

 

DELIVERY GUIDELINES

• Kindly ensure that someone is home on the day of delivery.

• Please understand that should we come through and nobody is home on the day, a second delivery fee will be charged to come again.

• Please ensure that the person home has been informed on exactly what needs to be done so our teams can ensure all is done correctly.

• We ask that you clear the driveway or available parking area so we can park as near to the offloading point as possible. We ask that there are no obstacles blocking our path.

• Please ensure that the parking area is safe and not in any way hazardous to our vehicles or team.

• If you have any dogs or animals that may harm our team or be a threat while trying to carry out the delivery we ask that you kindly keep them indoors or in a cordoned off area while the delivery is taking place. In the event of our teams being bitten please understand that this cost will billed for your attention due to negligence.

• Please let us know any of the following in advance; if you live on a steep hill, a gated Complex or Security Estate, or in a location that is a bit harder to access.

 

 

STACKING INFORMATION

Free Stacking Option

• All loose woods will be stacked within a maximum of 50m from where our delivery vehicle parks, and all bagged woods will be un-bagged and stacked at no additional charge, only on request.

Paid Stacking Option

• All paid stacking jobs will be charged for at an additional R199.
• Please note that these deliveries take more time to complete and therefore will be billed for accordingly.
• Our paid stacking should be paid in cash on the day of the delivery.
• There are 4 main reasons why these charges will apply. See below.

1. Woods to be stacked over 50m from where our delivery vehicle parks.
2. When stacking more than 2000pcs loose wood.
3. Stacking of more than 1 ton Hardwood.
4. Or, if the delivery entails climbing multiple flights of stairs.
