- Generates very high heat and creates coals.
- Smooth burn with a very fair burn time.
- Makes medium height, rapid burning flames.
- Low Moisture content in majority cases.
- Often nice large sizes supplied.
- It has smooth white or cream-coloured bark.
- A tall evergreen tree 18-40m high tree with a spreading crown.
- Red River Gum is an Invasive Species in Southern Africa.
- The wood is often used in rot resistant applications, as stumps, fence posts and sleepers.
